Romans 12:2

While reading Romans 12:2 (Amplified Version), I had this little "takeaway" that I want to share with yall.

It’s so important for us to pull away and spend intentional time with God everyday. The enemy is quick to plant lies in our head that stir up doubt, anxiety, worry and fear. The more time we spend with God and in our word, the easier it is for us to quickly cast down those lies from the enemy.

There is no perfect formula to spending time with God. But we can’t expect to hear His voice if our minds are clouded with other things that don’t matter. Sometimes we need to take a social media break, turn our phones off and just talk to Him. He longs for a relationship with us. He’s not a genie in a magic bottle that we just throw wishes at. He is our father. And any true father-daughter or father-son relationship requires spending time together.
